Choices choices …
By: Terry on 11 January 2023So the big decisions were: which chips to get, the denomination breakdown and the trade off btn more chips or a nicer case. All the other reviews I read were a great help so here’s my 2c. I went Monte Carlo for the look and fact that the denominations were really clear to see. Aussie version is a bit restrictive with $20 not being half of the next step up ($50) so the small blind/big blind thing gets messy. The customisation is awesome but be aware that breakdowns are by 25 chip batch size. They come sealed in plastic so presumably someone walks around picking your order from batches of 25s. Now off to YouTube for advice on the best starting stacks and denomination breakdown that results!! You want to think about how many players you’re catering for and what the starting blinds look like. Everything flows from there. That said, I wanted a bit of everything so still got at least 25 of the low end and top end. Finally it was tough to make the call but I opted for more chips over the viper case. (Viper+300 vs basic+500) viper case is clearly better and looks more reliable with the zipper than the sketchy latches. I had a case years ago like the silver one and always carried it with 2 hands for fear the latch would fail and chips would fill the streets! Easy fix is a Velcro strap for peace of mind so chose more chips. Am about to order some plastic trays and more chips as I figure I’m rarely taking them anywhere other than from cupboard to table. Jacks were awesome with the comms and logistics. Got my stuff really quickly. Looking forward to hosting regular events for my mates in 2023.

Great but
By: Gavin on 26 August 2022The chips are amazing! But the dealer chip is a little too lightweight and plain for this set in my opinion, the case is serviceable but not great either. Holds the chips will enough but the fittings seem a little cheap and easily breakable. I would still buy this set any day of the week just because the chips which are the main feature are amazing

Great Chips, love the quality.
By: Kirsten on 18 February 2022After buying one of these kits for my friend's daughter, her Dad sold his own kit to purchase the same kit from Jacks. The chips are of great quality for their price & what they really loved was the ability to customise the kits to suit themselves. Jacks poker was the only place, I could find online that customised to any denomination. Had to phone the team at Jacks Poker a couple of times, at no fault of their own & found their customer service to be exceptional.
